Don't. It is going to take some time married or not. You ask about dollars so no need to spend them on traveling there. You don't just get married and he gets to come with.
You apply for a fiance visa (when he comes he can work right away) and you get married in 90 days. You marry there and you will need a spousal visa...... in most cases more time. Either way 5 months to a year to get the visa. If he enters the US at any point beforehand he will be denied..... married or not. This can be taken care of but it will be expensive.
The law looks at it this way. If you are truly getting married for the right reasons 6 months is nothing to keep it legal and cheap.

First you go to the american embassy and second to the mental asylum. If you are afraid of being short on $ you shouldn't even think of marriage.
