I am an Atheist, and on MY behalf, I must disagree with your question. Not all Atheists try to disprove anything. I personally keep to myself unless a religious person tries to shove their views down my throat (not saying you are).
I DON'T try and disprove Jesus even then, I DO believe Jesus DID exist, I just don't think he did all the stuff he claimed. I DO however think God doesn't exist, but I'd rather not get into that discussion right now, I have found that there is NO way to disprove God, nor is there a way to prove him. I keep that as a peace, and try to not touch that unless provoked.
Now, I MUST say that Atheist that do nothing but try and disprove God's existence are undeserving of life in general.
Not all Atheists are the same, some have probably never even heard of God. I hope this helps... Oh, to answer/talk about what you said in the description, you say:
"God created us period."
That's pretty hippo critical. You can't just say that you're right and everyone else is wrong, If you remember, The current day bible is just a watered down version of the ORIGINAL bible. Man's interpretation. Other religions might believe the same things as you, but have a different God, doesn't that make them completely wrong, or just part of the way, if part of the way, why aren't there partial sins? there's NO possible way you can justify your religion as right and everyone else's as wrong, believe me, I wish life were just that simple. The problem is, if that were true, how come someone who lives in India, and comes from a tribe that has never even met a Christian or Catholic, or any ancient religion, have different views as you? could it be that we all just made it up to keep people in line and create a justice system?
BTW, we Atheists KNOW we're going to hell if God exists, don't tell us that, it's not like you saying that will make us go, "What? Hell? Oh crap, I'd better start believing that."
We don't believe in God, so we don't believe in hell, we believe in reincarnation.
Thank You,
Sysco G.

I'm not even sure what you're saying.
A person you know tries to disprove Jesus? Jesus is separate from God in many religions.
If one believes in evolution, he believes that all DNA information (which is really just four bases, excluding Uracil) and "directions" are what happened over billions of years of trail and error and some spontaneous mutation. Yes it's hard. That's why it took so long.
Did God create the human cell or the entire universe? Both are so damned complex!

Ah, I'm sure that you've got that backwards. Atheists are always trying to disprove the existence of God. Almost all of the atheists agree that Jesus did exist, but like many other religions, believe that he was not God or The Son of God.

well how bout you tell me how god is real??
you cant say he exists nor can you say he doesnt
there is no physical proof but faith but even that is to be questioned sometimes and i can only prove i exist because im thinking everything else is beyond my reason
and i dont know why disprove jesus he was pretty wise ill give him that but god well i need to read a lot more philosophy till i can truley say my eyes are opened
p.s before you go into magical stuff about us which if you havent figured withought bees you wouldnt be here (pollinate flower = existance)...so life isnt just like that, you know
ask like why, whats the purpose, why not before now, is it will (wouldnt that make him human?)
id suggest some early early islamic philosophers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_philosophy#Kalam
-im reading so far Kalam, Falsafa and a third guy and their ideas are attacking each other and more intresting things then you learned in science...belive me
and thier knowledge around the B.C's is like europeans 16th century
..good luck i hope w/e your belief should always be strong but always see the whole world for what it is

I don't need to disprove your god's existence, nor more then I need to disprove the existence of leprechauns.
To disprove the existence of a God, asserts that God's existence. Since you can't prove a God exist, there is nothing to disprove.
Using your logic:
If I made the claim mole people were living underneath my house and even though I have no scientific evidence to prove it, it would be up to everyone else to prove I'm wrong. If they can't, then I must be right.

I don't try to disprove Jesus....in fact most Atheists I know claim there is no GOD.....no one I know claims that there is no chance that a man named Jesus could have been executed in ancient times.
But maybe I give up trying to speak logically to religious people. Perhaps we should all just agree to disagree because we are never all going to agree on anything.

you're such an fool! No atheists hate God via fact HE does not EXIST! The good judgment Christians (and others) use never is clever. You blindly stick to a made up, all effectual individual via fact a e book tells you to. i'm no longer fearful of God. Who may be fearful of a few thing they understand isn't actual? i for my section do no longer carry around and wait to insult Christians, yet via fact that this question is directed in direction of atheists i'm answering. you're so ignorant! Christians are taught to be tolerant of others and be effective, yet many Christians discriminate against athiests and homosexuals. i'm no longer attempting to insult all Christians, yet this guy is purely too dumb for words.

The historicity of Jesus is dubious enough all by itself. no one has to try to "Disprove" Jesus.
As for God; The damning lack of any and all empirical data to suggest the existence of anything even remotely godlike, let alone a god, suffices

The problem with this statement is even if an intelligence created people that, does not prove the existence of the God from the bible. All it does is say that it is intelligence which is yet to be proven.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" John 1:1
The Word spoken of here is Jesus.
If God doesn't exist then neither does Jesus but they are so very wrong and sadly if they don't change they will be sent to Hell to be punished.
Yes, God punishes his children when they disobey just like our earthly parents and we are told over and over to repent or pay the price.
How can people look at a sunset and not see God? I have never understood that.
All you can do is pray for the lost that they might be saved.
