No greater subject can occupy the mind than the study of God and of man's relationship to Him.
There are many systems that have false teachings or deny the existence of God.

There is a God, just One, but there is a God who created this universe with all of its complexities and wonder. It did not just happen, it was created by an intelligent being, called God.

I look at a watch or an automobile, and I have no trouble believing that behind this thing there must be a person or person’s who designed and manufactured the item. There is the design, the functionality of the item, and a purpose for it. We would not assume that the watch or car resulted from an explosion in a junkyard. It was designed and made by a person, a thinking person. In like manner, the earth and man were designed and created by a person – God!
evidences for the existence of God.
Consider the following:
(1) Mankind has always believed in a universal being.
(2) Creation must have a creator. The universe could not originate without a cause.
(3) The wonderful design, which we see in creation, demands an infinite designer.
(4) Because good and evil exist throughout the world, we must assume there is a moral law that divides good and evil. Since there is a moral law, there must be a lawgiver.
(5) Since man is an intelligent, moral being, his creator must have been of a much higher order in order to create him.

a) There is enough evidence for Christians who believe—most of it is just not scientifically proven. What I mean is, I realize the scientific reasons that a sunset is usually bright oranges and great gradients of color, but it’s hard for me to accept that chance just thought the awe-inspiring beauty of the sunset up on its own—science in general just seems too magnificent to just randomly come into being. It seems to me that it had to be something more.
b) There’s probably more historically and scientifically proven things about Christianity than you know. Jesus was a real man, no one—Christian or atheist—disagrees with that statement, because he was written about by credible sources of his time and afterwards. The Bible was really written within a few hundred years or so before and after Jesus’ life. And there’s so many other things that I don’t think non-Christians even know about.

Honestly, I think a lot of Christians DO believe because they can’t accept that there’s nothing more to life than just what we have here, and it annoys me terribly. But I know Christians who have studied their whole lives, really searching for some sort of evidence that God exists. And there just isn’t anything you can prove by science. That’s the way God wanted it. But honestly, if there really is a God, and there really is a heaven and hell… isn’t that something that EVERYONE should at least look into? See if they think there’s any credibility to it? I know I had that my Christian teachers made me read about many other religions when I got old enough to really think for myself (the Koran, etc). And it only made me a stronger Christian.

I hope that I answered your question, at least a little. I don’t want to write an essay here, but I made a lot of general statements without backing things up. So if you have more questions, let me know! Have a great day!

I believe in God because I accpet death and above all I understand not what made the Universe but who!

Scientific explanation has revealed that the Big Bang theory was a hoax! Evolution was not proven....and so on!

It is human nature to question these unanswered questions about life...You have to be a BELIEVER to understand what GOD does...and how he did it!

God Bless

So is science suddenly truth? God is beyond the bounds of science, he is the result of the observation of the world and the result of the conclusion that it is infinitely impossible other then a supreme mind to hold it together. By the way, the earliest scientists were all believers in God, and established the scientific method. Science shows us how things are created but the why dictates the metaphysical.

I'm a Christian. I can accept death just fine. I've had about three near death experiences. I understand the universe and how it was made just fine. I know that God the Father created the Heavens and the earth, me and you. The thing is you have no idea what your asking. God has proven himself to me a number of times. I have faith in him. In fact he's about the only thing I do have faith in anymore.

You know, I saw a documentary on the Science Channel last night. There are scientists that now theorize that the all-powerful super-massive black holes in existence can lay dormant for unknown periods with unknown causes. How can a black hole, especially a super-massive one, lay dormant... feeding on nothing in spite of its overwhelming gravitational pull? I have a few, non-scientific theories...

1. It filled up or collapsed into itself.
2. It never existed in the first place.

That pretty much sums up my analysis of the *bulk* of atheist/agnostic reasons for disbelief in God, basing this upon what I have witnessed in here. Just as I took a non-scientific approach to explaining what I saw in a documentary last night... so do *a lot* of non-believers take a non-religious stance when attempting to explain spirituality that they may not understand fully. Do I understand everything that I saw in that documentary? Obviously not. That does not mean that the explanation is not out there for me to find. I just have to look in the right place.

I believe in god because he has changed my life completely and he has restored my broken crazy family. Most of us are saved christians. for those who arent I pray they get their lives right becasue heaven and hell are real. Its all in the Holy Bilble. God is real, when you accept him in your life you will see that he is real.
Its kinda like this, Im sure youve heard of somthing like this before tooo.
You cant SEE the wind, but its there blowing in your face.
When you use a phone you cant SEE the other person on the line, But you know they are there because you can hear them on the other side.
You cant SEE god but you can feel him when you accept him,
and you can hear him too, through prayer.

Hindu scriptures give answer to your question.

Who is God? Where is God? How can I come to know God?"

God has no names, but all names are the names of God. Whether you call Him this or that, He remains Who He is. But in our tradition we call God by the loving name Siva, which is only one of His 1,008 traditional names. Supreme God Siva is both within us and outside of us. Even desire, the fulfillment of desire, the joy, the pain, the sorrow, birth and death -- this is all Siva, nothing but Siva. This is hard to believe for the unenlightened individual who cannot see how a good, kind and loving God could create pain and sorrow. Actually, we find that Siva did not -- not in the sense that is commonly thought. God gave the law of karma, decreeing that each energy sent into motion returns with equal force.

In looking closely at this natural law, we can see that we create our own joy, our own pain, our own sorrow and our own release from sorrow. Yet we could not even do this except for the power and existence of our loving Lord. It takes much meditation to find God Siva in all things, through all things. In this striving -- as in perfecting any art or science -- regular daily disciplines must be faithfully adhered to.

Siva is the immanent personal Lord, and He is transcendent Reality. Siva is a God of love, boundless love. He loves each and every one. Each soul is created by Him and guided by Him through life. God Siva is everywhere. There is no place where Siva is not. He is in you. He is in this temple. He is in the trees. He is in the sky, in the clouds, in the planets. He is the galaxies swirling in space and the space between galaxies, too. He is the universe. His cosmic dance of creation, preservation and dissolution is happening this very moment in every atom of the universe. God Siva is, and is in all things. He permeates all things. He is immanent, with a beautiful form, a human-like form which can actually be seen and has been seen by many people in visions. He is also transcendent, beyond time, cause and space.

That is almost too much for the mind to comprehend, isn't it? Therefore, we have to meditate on these things. God Siva is so close to us. Where does He live? In the Third World. And in this form He can talk and think and love and receive our prayers and guide our karma. He commands vast numbers of devas who go forth to do His will all over the world, all over the galaxy, throughout the universe. These are matters told to us by the rishis; and we have discovered them in our own meditations. So always worship this great God. Never fear Him. He is the Self of your self. He is closer than your own breath. His nature is love, and if you worship Him with devotion you will know love and be loving toward others. Devotees of God Siva love everyone.

This is how God Siva can be seen everywhere and in everyone. He is there as the Soul of each soul. You can open your inner eye and see Him in others, see Him in the world as the world. Little by little, discipline yourself to meditate at the same time each day. Meditate, discover the silent center of yourself, then go deep within, to the core of your real Being. Slowly the purity comes. Slowly the awakening comes.

There are more ways to prove something then through science. The very tenents of science it's self are based on philosophy and logic. Do you need science to know what you had for breakfast this morning? No, you just need the memory of it. Do you need science to know that you exist? No, logic proves that. Do you need science to know if it is a warm day? No, you only need to experience it.

Logic, experience, and (for some people) even science leads us to know that God exists.
