Although such things are done by a people who are divided within themselves (often immersed in their lower natures), it also comes about by cosmic law, as the laws allow it. Many are working on gaining balance, so they are immersed into lives where they must directly engage that aspect of their mind/being. Some are seeking balance through having themselves pay the debt of karma, many are being tested in regards to consciousness, as the events of this world snaps us out of our stupors and we are held to observe and make a choice. This choice and the actions to follow will decide where an individual will be. To be or not to be, that is truly the question.
These things are cyclic, people are raised up to fulfill these roles, in many cases it becomes what it does because people were too complacent to stop them when they were weak or not as strong, like Hitler for example, he could've been stopped a long time ago but the complacency of the people in spots did not prevent it. And these people are raised up by other laws of balance as an polarity on the opposite end of the spectrum in this world. Think about the lives that are impacted by war and how they change, thus those around them are effected? Everyones condition is altered. You begin to really transcend the mundane existence when you begin to ask the tough questions, the many "whys"? There are many reasons. While everything is politically correct in this world, nothing is politically correct in spirit, because all things appear as they are from higher soul perspective, everything has a purpose and is used for the development and refinement of souls, everything.
I shouldn't even be writing this stuff on Y!A's lol. Have to be more reversed with these things.

When Christ talked about bringing, not peace but a sword...human violence and bloodshed is NOT what He meant!!!
I get so sick of all these people going on about how America needs to go to war with all of these countries and places elsewise she'll be destroyed. Hogwash.
Consider where we were right after September 11th. Sympathy from all over the world abounded. If we had reacted not with vengeance, but with love, empathy, forgiveness, and justice (using courts instead of bombs) we could have taken the opportunity to mend many of the world's problems, as God probably intended.
But no, that wasn't good enough for Bush. He had to use the opportunity to create war and division. His explicit goals were stated in the PNAC decleration, stating that he desired above all else, America to return to an extremely militaristic and dominant style. So he deliberately used the opportunity to back America into a corner, and create more enemies.
He did a great job, doncha think? *insert sarcasm there!*
Christians are put on this earth to soothe pain, to restore bonds, to turn the other cheek (intelligently and not doormatedly, granted), to restore those whose lives have been destroyed by poverty, or hurt or addiction or really anything.
Christ, our savior and teacher, rebuked the disciple who tried to defend Him by cutting off the ear of his enemy, and healed that man and restored His ear. If Christ would not turn a violent hand towards someone who wished to harm Him (though granted, that soldier was probably just doing what he was commanded to), than how can I?
EDIT: I mispoke. I did not mean to insinuate that God caused, planned, or wanted September 11th to happen. But I believe that God always can take horrible circumstances that He did not bring about and cause some good to come out of it. He grieved mightily with those who suffered from it, and those who caused it. All I meant to say is that once it had happened, God most likely would have wanted the leaders of the world to come together and heal, instead of tear apart and you know, throw bombs and kill people!

Wars are logical consequence of usury or interest based based economies to bring the interest monies in tangible forms ie like providing gold support to the paper by annexing the resources. From spirituality point of view it turning the humans into ferrocious beasts.Quran has declared the interest as war against God.

There is actually a book on the subject of war.
I read some of it in a bookstore in the U Dist. in Seattle WA but forgot the title.
I think the main idea of the book was war is a part of man's nature and it is desired, and unfortunately, expressed.
A few books (bible is one we all know) says that the spirit and the flesh are in conflict, therefore, humanity is at war with itself at the very core.
Don't quote me on this because, I don't read the bible much and this is what I heard

I'll look for a scripture but my opinion is no one wants war it comes knocking at your door, you either fight back or let them destroy and ruin this great country.
Proverbs 24:6 (AMP):
6 For by wise counsel you can wage your war, and in an abundance of counselors there is victory and safety.
