I believe in true love, but love is in degrees. You do not love a child, a friend, a parent, and a spouse in the same way, and the rate of divorces is high because people too often mistake love of a friend for love of a soul mate.

love is a lot like pain.
it lets you know you are still alive
but in the same unpleasant way.
and yes it is real, at least to the extent that any feeling is real. which, to me, is not a very great extent.

true love yes ! been there ! it is the most unexplainable heavenly feeling you will ever feel! it's there and hurt like hell at times but you wouldn't wannt to not have it! once you got it there is no going back!
