This is a recent change to the UCMJ, so many individuals will be out of touch on the current rules and regs. As of a date that has since passed, enlisted and officers are prohibited from dating. They had until a certain time to get married or break it off, and that time has passed.
This applies regardless of branch or chain of command. To be eligible to date, the other person must be in the same category (enlisted to enlisted, officer to officer), or a civilian. If you are discharged, you are not in the military and are a civilian. I'm sure exceptions can be applied for, there usually is, so there may be rare cases where it is permitted.

There are two different ways to answer this... 1) it is ok if they were both enlisted and one goes comissioned (i.e we have a 2nd LT and a TSgt married, the LT is in our squadron her husband is in a different squadron and 2) yes the military does look down on fraterization, and it not suggested that officers and enlisted date or be married, however you are technically allowed to date officer/enlisted in they are not in your chain of command.

I would ask your Chaplin on that one.
You don't want a "dishonarable discharge." That's equal to a
"felony."
If you are inlisted personal.
Once you have reached your eight year obligation. with no
reserve time left.
Accept your Honorable discharge.
Then you are officially out. Then get married, But, You may have to stay "civilian," So, check with the Chaplin first.
They must still have that rule from the second world war. that:
"LOOSE LIPS, SINK SHIPS." So an Officer does not talk
with their enlisted "Spouse." about, what is to happen in the
unit of operation. <}:-})

When you are out on your "inactive reserve time" you do not have to adheare to the UCMJ. you dont have to keep your hair in regulation. You do not have to gain command permision to marry.
So the answer is no
If you are not either in the active reserver or on active duty you are a civilian until called back up and made active again. You dont have to call military officers sir while you are on inactive reserve time you are a civilian. If you got called back up and you had married a person who is an officer while you were on inactive reserves the military would just make sure that you didnt fall under the higher ranking persons chain of command

That is not necessarily true.
When I was in the Air Force I knew a Senior Master Sergeant who was married to a Captain.
I also knew a Sgt who dated a Captain.
The military frowns on Enlisted and Officer fraternization, but it does happen. And really they can do nothing about it, as long as you keep your professional life separate from your private life. And as long as that person is not under your command.

Yes, officer and enlisted can be married in the military. If two enlisted Soldiers were married before one of them became a officer then they can remain in the military.

It is a myth that they are not allowed to date but must get permission to do so. It is complicated but I answered a similar question some time ago. Look up my past answers to questions it's a long answer and the work is all up to the Officer of the couple.

If you were dating and higher ups became aware of it, I would expect you would be censored.
If you didn't change your ways, you would probably get reassigned to different duty stations. After all, you are enlisted for x number of years at the convenience of the military. It is more convenient for them to reassign you than to discharge you and lose the manpower.

once one of you is out of Active Duty, it is no longer a Fraternization issue, and therefore is not against UCMJ. this applies even to IRR.
