It's unbelievable! They invent lies/conduct smear campaigns against Rush Limbaugh and other decent Americans. They are miserable traitors, have nothing to contribute to this country and have nothing in a campaign to offer. No one with any sense is fooled.

This is truly despicable, but it is to be expected. It's on the level of their recruiting illegal voters and standing for every sick and rotten cause imaginable.

I predict that it will backfire on them, especially if the Republicans can get a sensible, down-to-earth candidate in there.

To me, the Democrats' worm-like behavior shows that they're fearful somehow and this is a desperate act. I think that the handwriting is on the wall and they are going to lose again.

Please note that it's part of the Communist Manifesto to denigrate and slander decent people, while holding rotten and loathsome individuals in high esteem. This won't work in America, however. People will see through it.

People today are not obviously not easily deceived and are wise to the sneaky Democrat tactics. Again, the Dems don't have anything of real substance to contribute to the country, or anything that would appeal to voters. The desperation is really showing. They're trying to throw their big Sunday punches, just as Germany did as they began to realize they were losing the war.

I see that we have a few people below who have posted completely feeble replies, calling my respectful post a "rant," and saying that I can't "prove things."

May I remind you, sir, that that the burden of proof is upon YOU (or the Democrats with whom you side, since they instigated the attacks and you support them)!

Several high-ranking members of the Democratic Party have an agenda that is solidly anti-American.
OK, 'Think 1st'... you asked for evidence... but don't tell me I didn't warn you that you won't like it. Let's look at some FACTS about the Democratic Party in its current incarnation:

1. Nancy Pelosi went to Syria on an unapproved visit. She does not have the right to represent the US in foreign affairs. She is not the Secretary of State. Look it up. It's illegal. It's treason, under the Constitution. While there, she LIED to the Syrian leadership about a 'message' she brought from the Israeli Prime Minister. So, let's get this straight... she went to a foreign country and not only claimed to represent America when she had no right to... she embarrassed us by LYING to a foreign leader!

2. Howard Dean, who is also not the Secretary of State (come to think of it, he's NOTHING except the head of the DNC) has claimed to have had several 'secret meetings' with leaders of foreign countries during which he has told them to wait for a Democrat to take power in America and things will change. He said this HIMSELF in an interview with Politico.
TREASON! It even sounds like he's planning a COUP!
Do you KNOW what would happen to me or you if we did that?

3. Hillary Rodham Clinton was found to have accepted a sizable amount of money from someone who is connected to the Chinese government in some very shady ways. Should a foreign power be allowed to influence a Presidential race? Shouldn't she be under intensive investigation after that? China is not only a foreign country, it's a Communist nation.
Yet, she would have accepted that money and shut up if she were not CAUGHT. Reminds me of Al Gore, who was VP when she and Billy boy were in the White House, who was campaigning in a Buddhist temple! Wow... Manchurian Candidates?

4. Speaking of the Clintons, during their Presidency, they made military personnel act as waiters for functions they had and Hillary tried (unsuccessfully, mind you) that the Marines in the White House not wear their uniforms. If a Marine uniform offends her... maybe she needs to move to Cuba. Then she can get her socialized healthcare and Bill can get his cigars!

5. Al Gore has twisted data and presented a wildly speculative Science Fiction movie as a documentary. "An Inconvenient Truth" is about as accurate as a Michael Moore film and about as scientifically accurate as Star Wars. At least the lightsaber duels were cool, right? Because Gore's film tells you a fairy tale of epic proportions as well, but without the heroes. At least it didn't have Jar Jar. But at the same time, it portrayed us as villains ruining the climate and did this so he could get people to buy CARBON OFFSETS.
Now... there is NO proof that it's even CO2 that is warming the Earth. It may, in fact, even just be solar activity and us being at our closest part of our orbit to the sun... but Gore can't make any money selling SOLAR OFFSETS so he has to sell you what he can cash in on. Doesn't that make him a con artist? Aren't con artists criminals?

6. Hey, does ANYONE know where the documents that Bill Clinton had removed from the national archive are? Here we are years later and they still never seem to have shown up... could that be because they knew Hillary's run for Queen... er... President would be RUINED if we knew what really did happen during their Presidency?

7. Harry Reid called the war 'lost'. John Kerry called our troops uneducated. Moveon.org called a great man a traitor and yet the Democrats were afraid to condemn that ad because too many of them wanted the organization's money.
So how can they get the egg off their face? Wait for Rush to say something, take it out of context, lie about what he said and then condemn him. After all, they have to deflect the American people's focus. They don't think we'll remember where they stand. I believe that requires a serious suspension of disbelief.

8. The Democrats stick to their tired 'there were no WMDs' thing when discussing Iraq. What they DON'T tell you is that there WERE and they knew it. WE sold them WMDs during the 1980s when we wanted them to deal with Iran for us. I know, get all indignant... but don't we all kinda hope Israel handles Iran so we won't have to? Problem is, Saddam used a bunch of them on his own people... the Kurds. Do some research. Don't listen to the media... read about the life that people led under Saddam. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and no one ever said it did. It had to do with removing a murderous tyrant from power and liberating a peoples. Do the Liberals want you to know that? Of course not.


Look... I can go on all day with evidence galore... but the fact of the matter is this:
NO, I'm not surprised the Liberals are using smear tactics. It's how the Clintons operate and anyone else in the party will resort to them to be able to fight Hillary for the nomination.
Will the American people see through it?
The smart, sensible ones will. The intelligent will read the truth and research and learn...

the gullible masses will follow Hillary. She promises them something-for-nothing government programs. She tells them she is smart and Bush is dumb. She tells them she is good and Bush is evil. The media never challenges her on these things... so what else is the uneducated person to believe?
After all, it's on the news, right?

Best thing you can do is spread the word and encourage people to learn the facts and not just vote for someone because they know their name.
That's the Liberals' goal... smear everyone else so they look better.
Get the word out there and hope we never have to clean up a city destroyed in a nuclear attack by terrorists because the Liberals made us vulnerable again. There's a lot at stake here so... spread the word and keep pointing out the lies.

I think this is one of your better stories. Next time do a little research because what your character’s husband did would have been assault and threatening so he would have been the one arrested. I can't see how anyone can defend Rush Limbaugh as a decent American. Rush is the smear pro. He is overweight which he can lose and has the nerve to make fun of people's looks which they can't help. I think he is one of those hypocrite conservatives like Sen. Craig, Ted Haggard, and Mark Foley. If he's not married, why did he have a bottle of Viagra that was illegally obtained when coming from Las Vegas where prostitution is legal? I guess he has no problem with abusing legal drugs with his painkiller addiction that he won't admit caused him to lose some of his hearing. I can listen to almost every conservative talk radio host except for him because he makes my stomach turn with his hatred filled rants. The point of the Iraq war was never to liberate the Iraqis; if that were the case, we would have declared war on Sudan. Yes, Reagan sold weapons to Iraq during the 1980s. In response to ams, you don't think conservatives want to control what we do with our lives? I'm conservative; but most conservatives want to teach Christianity in schools when there are Americans of many different religions, they want to control who can have an abortion, they want to control who can get married, and they want to control people's personal use of drugs. Democrats like to control things economically and conservatives like to control things socially.

Democrats are really good at pandering. They want us all to live in a godless world where we punish victims and protect criminals. They want us to permit terrorists to legally enter this country where they can host an event worse than 9/11.

I have noticed that they have very little backbone and won't support our military. They whine about the dead soldiers, but won't admit that more soldiers died per year under Clinton than ever died in Iraq. If we don't maintain our presence in Iraq, we will surely have more victims in the US. Understand that more people died in 9/11 than died in Iraq.

I've also noticed that Democrats tend to pander to minorities rather than allow them the opportunities to flourish on their own. It's shameful. Republicans want less government involvement and more autonomy.

I get disgusted when I hear Democrats who want to legalize drugs, too. They are a cancer on society, and we're now at the point where methamphetamine is not only destroying our youth but also creating sadistic monsters. Children as young as 8 are being targeted for the sale of cheese, which is nothing more than black tar heroin mixed with Tylenol PM. One child in Plano, TX, who became hooked on this drug, was told to perform "favors" when she could no longer afford the dose. I hear local Democrats all the time telling us we don't have a problem with drugs while our youth are dying.

We are losing our most valuable natural resources at the hands of those wonderful Democrats.

Actually I wonder how people like you will feel in 2009. When you look back and realize you could have participated in meaningful debate but instead chose to just attack anyone with a different opinion with nonsense about being traitors and communists.

I also don't see one fact in your rant. I would note that the current negative campaigns against Republican candidates are being primarily funded by Republican groups -- like the Log Cabin Republicans ads attacking Mitt Romney.

It isn't hard to run a smear campaign against Rush Limbaugh as he has never heard the saying that those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

They already showed their true colors regarding the troops by implying they are failures...and are nothing more than canon fodder.
Besides what Rush said wasn't implying all the troops and was completely and so badly taken out of context..if you go and try and find the exact wording ...it is so cut up on blogs and papers it's not even what was said...I guess every other word or phrase is what counts these days.
