It is wrong for him to call you lazy and selfish, but some people are so terrified of going to the dentist, they have to take anti-anxiety pills or have gas, even to have their teeth cleaned. He is probably ashamed or embarassed to tell you that he is afraid. A dentist appointment does not take as long as a gynocologist appointment, so you may need him to go with you some day. I am not saying you are wrong. It seems he may have put you on the defensive.

. need you to clarify so?. i do hope you meant to write son. instead of so?,as your husband ought to be able to go to the dentist alone unless there is general anesthetic involved and that he has to drive home if this is a typing error id say ask your son if He would like you to accompany him if your son is in his 30s id recommend a therapist, but if hes say 8or 9 you might take on board your husbands remarks

SINCE YOU ARE AN ADULT, SO HE SHOULD BE ALSO AND GO BY HIMSELF UNLESS HE'S HANDICAPPED AND CANNOT DRIVE HIMSELF.
