why would you spend all that money on a neon for gods sake when you can buy a viper that has more horsepower and performance that any american car including corvette. the new 08 viper has 600+hp and will blow the doors off anything on the road including mazurati, lamborgini, porsche, corvette, mercedes, oh yea and of course the ever overrated mustang. i just don't understand the logic at all when you have such incredible options for power and much better performance and stability on the road... but to each his own i guess.

You want more traction? There are two major components of traction: Weight transfer and tires. Since you car is front drive and weight wants to transfer to the rear tires on take off, this will be tricky. First, install a set of the stiffest springs you can find in the back. This will help prevent the rear end from squatting on take off. Next, install a set of sticky drag tires like Mickey Thompson, Nitto, or BFG drag radials.

my brother has a 04 srt it is the mopar addition has all mopar mods spikes 30psi hold 26 and has around 410 horses srt are common for trany problems the more horses you push the more problems cause your stock tranny can only handle like 450 horses before it goes but yeah other than that its a great car
