I am 36 and the Marine I have been dating for a year now is 30. He is in special forces and is pretty much a loner (he has a handful of close friends). He recently opened up to me drastically and told me he wanted me to be the last woman he is ever with and me to be the mother to his children. He says he has never had the feelings of completeness till he met me and he has never been able to talk to anyone as he does to me. Everything he talks about is in "us" and the future and he is very considerate of my feelings. He wants me to move in with him so he will never have to be without me. So my question to you is, does it sound to you as if he will be proposing to me soon? I mean that would be great but I do not want to rush it yet I would love for him to...Any real men with a good answer out there

Well being in the Marines can be stressful at times..try to point it out a bit by saying how you friend got proposed to and she is so happy about it and all. Hopefully if he gets it he will ask you if you think it time for you two to bring it up a level or not. But seeing as it was only a year you might need to give it a few months or so. Moving in with him will better set the mood and feelings towards the idea. You do not go to rush it nor does he..it will fall into place at the right moment. =)

Has he given you flowers? If it is a red rose then ya. Or maybe even a ring of promise? Does he look at you with deep and longing eyes? Do you ever fight at all, or are you both completely happy each time you meet? Is he the type that is willing to commit? One year is not rushing it at all. Some folks get married after one month(of course they usually end up cheating on each other after only a couple days when they get back from the honeymoon). That is how you can tell.
