I believe in angels because I feel I have encountered them. I have no other explanation. There have been several instances, one very profound. I will share it for the third time today. Seems everyone's interested in angels these days.
On July 9, 1999, our area was hit with a devastating series of thunderstorms that tore the roofs from several homes, downed trees and wires, and left us without power for days. This happened in the late evening, just around nightfall.
For most of that day, however, the weather was beautiful with no sign of things to come. My two youngest sons and I were at my mother's house, visiting with my stepfather while she was having her hair done and getting groceries.
The boys were in the sandbox, and as I watched them play I glanced at the 60 foot pine trees that edge my mother's property. For no reason at all, I set my sights on one particular tree just as I heard a voice tell me, "That tree is going to fall on the sandbox."
I became uneasy, and try as I might I couldn't shake the feeling that this tree was, indeed, going to fall. But when? And how?
As the day wore on, the sky darkened, and it was evident that a severe storm was approaching. My stepfather drove me home to shut windows, and when the kids and I returned to my mother's house they ran straight for the sandbox. Terror gripped me, for I remembered what I had heard and understood it's meaning.
I screamed for the boys to get away from the sandbox and ushered them into the house. Moments later, a fierce storm ripped through, lasting only minutes, but the crashing outside was awful to hear.
When things had calmed down, I went outside to survey the damage. A large tree lay in front of the Pentecostal Holiness church across the street, my neighbors were missing part of their roof. And then my eyes fell on a sight I couldn't believe. There, laying in the sandbox, was the top 20 feet of that tree.
True story.

I believe in angels because I have proof.
My daughter when she was just a baby and I were home alone one night in a huge storm. It was really scary. Then she started to smile and point to the dark walk-in-wardrobe in my room. "birdy, birdy man" she said and was clapping and so happy. i couldn't see it but felt safe. She was only 2.
My children were trapped in our car earlier this year (you can see this is true if you look on Flood at Broughton Anglican College on the internet) - there was a massive storm and our car was washed away with 3 of my children in it, my 9 year old, my 4 year old and my baby. The car was turned off and nothing works when it's off. The windscreen wipers started working by themselves and the water squirters squirting which caught the attention of the schools groundsmen who rescued my children. They pulled my baby out of her baby capsule as the water was poring in on her feet. It had to be an angel. They honestly do not work when the car isn't on. I have tried! Our car was completely destroyed minutes after the children were rescued.
Oh! I just read your other answerers story about the tree in the sandbox - yes that is definitely angels!!

In this life there are devils and angles and they both guide us with our decisions. For example, the question you asked was influenced by that little devil side of your conscience and the angel side of your conscience made you read my response, because I am writing straight from the heart. If you ever have a daughter then you would see an angel in real life the day she is born.

Daniel answered (the king), "May Your Majesty live for ever! God sent his angel to shut the mouths of the lions so that they would not hurt me. He did this because he knew that I was innocent and because I have not wronged you." Dan. 6, 22.

I believe in them because I have seen them almost my whole life.
I can hardly remember a dream or vision without having seen or heard an angel.
I imagine that all GOD loving souls have the same thing happen to them.

Because The Bible and many other books in history have talked about them.
I also have communicated with them and have had visions of them as well have painted them. Write me and I'll share the pics.

I just do. I feel it in my heart. And only to those people who believe they do good things for you.
