Islam does not scare me.
Only extremist do like anyone that could strap a bomb to themselves and explode it in public to kill innocent people.
Military targets are one thing in a war but not civilians. They hide behind Islam as an excuse. They are in my opinion not TRUE followers of Islam or they would not kill and murder.
Yes these people have used a dedcent faith whether you believe or not its concepts are not evil or bad. Only certain people who use it as a weapon are.
This is far different than the Crusades and Saladin. That was war too but not like today and yes innocent people of course died but believe it or not more by Christians in the first crusade than any muslim. When they took the holy land in the first crusade the butchered all its inhabitants regardless of if they were not muslim, that mean children, woman, other Christians, and Jews.
It still sends shudders down most Muslims today if you mention the Crusades.
So that is my answer, Islam is just as good as Christianity and Judaism, Wiccan, Buddhist etc. It is the user that define their actions not their faith. Even if they are using their faith to hide behind.

i'm not afraid, i think islam is a great religion. some people are jsut too ignorant to learn anything about it.
god made men and women to have children. not a woman and a woman or a man and a man. so i think that if you are gay, you will go to hell. PERIOD.
in the quran it states that muslim women should dress modestly. HOW IS THIS BAD? since when is it bad to dress modestly? it's better than dressing like some hooker and getting raped.
islam does not say "beat your wives", its considered bad to.
not all terroists r muslims, and no all muslims r terrorists.
some people call themselves christians but u say how muslims r evil. HAHA!! u guys r hypocrites.
i respect all people, no matter what religion or race they r. i will never try to change someone's belief's.

How convenient to say anyone of your faith who does anything wrong is not of your faith. Even Christians will admit that some of us have done some horrible things in the name of God.
Islam does not "answer all the questions people have about God, life, death, and everything in between". Islam's "answers" are nothing more than rewritten Biblical scripture pieced together to give them an Arab flavor. Which would be fine, but Muhammed then committed the blasphemy of rewriting the Nativity Story and putting words into the mouth of Jesus Christ.
Nobody is afraid of Islam. Some of us are repelled and insulted by it, though.

I'm not afraid of Islam. I oppose islam because it is evil and has tried to replace the real God of the Bible with the fictional pagan arab moon god allah.
8:12 in the koran says allah brags about his ability to be a terrorist. I read it. 8:12 also tells muslims to chop off the heads of "infidels" I'm an infidel. 4:34 tells muslims to beat their wives. Wife beating is evil. Jesus stopped people from stoning a woman. Muslims routinely stone women where shariah law is enforced.
You are telling a huge lie when you say terrorists are not muslims, and after reading the entire koran and studying islam I expect you to lie. It is justified in islam to lie under 3 conditions:1. to spread islam, 2. to resolve a dispute, 3. you can lie to all "infidels". Islam even teaches that breaking treaties is OK by allah.
The world is waking up to the evil threat posed by the false religion of islam. We smell the evil jihad and will fight back.
Leave islam and ask Jesus to forgive you for believing the lies taught by evil men in the mosques. Jesus , not allah, is Akbar...

I beg to differ with you. If you are not a terrorist, then you are not a Muslim. And I have read the Koran, and it does not come close to answering questions. All it does is warn me that Allah has a special torture set aside for me if I don't do exactly what he says. It is mind numbingly repetitious, and devoid of inspiration.
Muhammad called Muslims to terrorize the non-believers. The Terrorists today, whether you like it or not, are following what Muhammad said, to the letter.
It seems to me that most Muslims have somehow morphed into a "kinder, gentler" Islam. Be that as it may, it is NOT fundamental Islam. If you do not accept the violent, vile aspects that are as much a part of Islam as the part you do adore, then what exactly are you? If Muhammad were alive today, he would condemn you for not obeying his call to Jihad. He did this many times with the peaceful Muslims who wavered when he would call for another raid.
I did not accept the media for this opinion, I went straight to the source: Islamic scripture. What I found there horrified me even more than anything the media says, because quite frankly, I think today's media is quite apologetic towards Islam. I found tales of assassinations, thievery, Torture, rape and genocide, all sanctioned by Allah and carried out by or onthe behalf of Muhammad.. The attitudes towards killing and rape were so cavalier that I felt I was reading about true evil.
If you are a peaceful Muslim, if you belive that terroism is wrong, then I would like to respectfully suggest that you grab a Bible and read it. Open your heart, and accept the words, as I accepted the words of Islam. I accepted the words of Islam and it filled me with loathing and disgust. Will the Bible do the same to you?
I am not afraid of Islam, but I am concerned. If an Islamic state acquires a nuclear weapon, I expect that a billion muslims will be dead before the conflagration ends. Are you prepared to pay that price?

We muslims dont scare anybody and dont intend to harm anybody, but we cant tolerate anybody harming us or other muslims. An attack on a muslim in Africa is touching to that muslim mother as it is touching to all the 1 billion muslims in this globe. We fight for the right of the individual and the individual fights for the rights of all muslims.
All the killings against muslims in Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestin, Afganistan, Philipines, Thialand, eastern europe, somalia, sudan, iran and all around the world forced muslims to defend themselves and fellow brothers.
When the call of jihad is called muslims flow from all across the muslim world to protect their fellow muslim brothers and this is 100% true as you can see it knowadays and throughout history. If muslim countries fall for true democracy isreal would be in a war with 1 billion muslim to free jueruslem as islam third holiest mosque is their. Shiites and sunnis fight as brothers and sisters fight in families over arguments but one, attack the brother or the sister they band up and fight together. Thats how the lebanese where able to kick isreal out of lebanon.
Muslim will help you and respect you but if you attack them they will fight back. Thats why during the Rwandan Genocide the Hutus didnt dare attack or kill any muslim Rwandans because they know that it will be the end of their power in a matter of days when muslim mujahideen from all around the globe will come to help them. Most of the fighters in lebanon, iraq, somalia, bosnia and afganistan where muslims from different countries bounded by the call for jihad under the name "Allah Akbar"

the Islam teachings are including in the Quran, you can verses againts the infidels.. instead a God who loves everyone who doesnt care religion or sex, in the Quran the woman could be beat if she doesnt obey his husband, the homosexuals are killed even in the Quran there is no a specific punishment for gays, violence is allowed in the name of God, during the middle ages, the christians and jews lived as citizens of second class, because they had to pay taxes for keeping their religion, there is a verse, which says to pay the yizia or fight againts the islam, there are many verses were abrogated by another verses. In the Quran, the word punishment is more finding than the word love or compassion even they will say Allah is merciful, his merciful is not very good with their horrible punishments, instead of helping the people, they prefer to kill

Islam does not scare me. I find it an unfortunate blight upon the Earth. I regard it as Satan's tool- you can tell when he devises things, all the mistakes of history rolled up into one.
What mistakes? I will tell you.
1) The introduction of a religion that is against God, that makes Jesus into less than God.
2) The mistake of making a government that recognizes a particular religion as being 'official'. The mistake was seen plainly in the time of the Roman Catholic Church which was for a time, 'the official church' , for which many were persecuted and killed, tortured and stolen from, in the name of religious legal right. And that is what the Muslims are doing right now. Not hundreds of years ago, but every day right now.
3) Trying to fight against God's people. That's not very smart. It's as if the Muslims did not know that God made a promise to His people, "No weapon formed against thee shall prosper." And so the Muslims are getting their butts kicked all over the place. Anywhere God's people show up.
4) The Muslims attempt to go against God, not because they think they are, but because they are told to. They think that they are right about what they do, and yet they suffer the curse God uttered a long, long time ago: "I will bless those that bless you, and curse those who curse you." And the Muslims get their butts kicked every time the children of God show up.

Islam doesn't scare me at all. Some day I'm sure it will come of age. It is stuck in it's medieval times now as Christianity was in the past. It's leaders are afraid to give up their total control of the masses. But they will.
