ever since i was a little girl i have tried to keep a good body shape. be healthy, not fat or over the top skinny. but 3 years ago when i became very sick i lost soooooo much weight, & i didnt really gain as much back because my diet was less. i've tried eating more but its like i can't now, like i throw up at times & other times when i run my entire left side of my body feels like someones LITERALLY stabbing me. i really do need to eat more though because my doctor had told me i was 5% under weight & even though he has set me up with these new things its not working. i just feel sick & does anyone have any opinions or advice?im just so sick of going to the doctor because they dont seem to understand! And i'm only 14!

Yeah I feel for you my I went in and out of the doctors so much that I just ended up getting sick of it. One day I just decided to both improve my health and get my body in shape. It was a real commitment that I was prepared to make. So glad I did a lot of my health problems that I felt went away. My stamina increased as well as my energy. I have been working out for about 2 years now and my last visit to the doctor was him telling me that I was healthier than him. Yeah! Working and eating healthy is the key. You must remember that water is your friend keep it with you at all times. Don't get discouraged get a second opinion from another doctor.
That stabbing sensation that you get used to happen to me when I ran a lot too. It still happens if I overdo it so I have to stop, take a break or take it slow. For you since you are 14 I would recommend starting lighter with your workouts, slowly increase more time and distance to your cardio. There are other workouts you can do to get your heart worked out. Like there is jogging in place, dancing, jumping jacks. Breathing is key in cardio and in any workout. It is weird because I used to gag a lot with food too when I was at that age but tell me what kind of foods are you eating? What times are you eating? Do you have a normal eating schedule? are you eating anything that your mom might question?

Perhaps it's WHAT you are trying to eat that is making you lose it. Try eating only foods that have no pesticides, or, food additives, or, preservatives. Use Stevia rebaudiana (an herb) instead of sugar (sugar & refined foods harm the immune system). Sometimes a person has sensitivities to even some healthy foods. Have you considered seeing a Naturopathic Dr.? They are much better trained to understand the body, than conventional Drs., especially if into Energy Medicine.

Don't let the 'nay-sayers' turn you away from real help. That's what they do -- & they believe they are right, because that's what they've been taught to believe. Most of them mean well. But, don't let them tell you you're just making up your symptoms, like they do so many. That's what they're taught to believe about the cases they can't understand at all. As though they know everything. They don't. Find someone who will help you get to the TRUE bottom of your problems.

Don't allow yourself to lose hope!

Although your kidney's are in your lower back, I had kidney pains in my side at you age that really felt sharp . Weight problems can cause kidney problems. I think you should go back to your doctor, tell him about the pain and ask him to help you with your eating disorder(throwing up is an eating disorder) or to refer you to someone who can help you.
