i had this pain in my butt muscle that goes between my thigh and side of my lower back. sometimes i notice it in my arm or legs. it's a very short discomfort but it does bother me none the less. i have converted to vegetarinism, do i need to take in some vitamins or is this something different?

it's like a twitchy pain sometimes and sometimes just a surge of pain throughtout a part of my body. oh and sometime when i lay on my belly and get up it's hurts! i am overweight by quite a bit...i'm not 300 pounds or anything...i'm very healthy for my size, considering.

it's usually when i'm standing still, hardly when i'm sitting. it's kind of a between pain (between sharp and dull) it just surges like i said. sometimes very painful, almost like for that few seconds, i'm inmobile.

I'm not sure if it's something related to the vitamins (which I don't think it is), but you DO need vitamins since you don't have meat, and don't get all the things you should have like vitamins and protein.

There are many possible causes of pain in that area. Is there something that precedes the pain? An activity, eating, running?. What kind of pain is it, sharp, dull ache? Can you make the pain come or go by doing something/
