I'm talking about a spiritual connection-- with the earth, with those around you-- some wonderful moments in your life when you feel happy to be alive, specific or general.
Mine are these: hearing laughter, walking into a greenhouse or walking in the woods, seeing people help each other, seeing a beautiful piece of art or reading a passage in a book that I just have to underline.

A lot of what you have listed are similar to my ideas. Add to that family and a job well done, helping others, baking, working on my crafts, Autumn, winter, the smells and flavors associated with these seasons, the night, stars... If I keep this up I many not get this written before it is up! Just say life in general and all the good associated with it!

Hearing my children's laughter, seeing their smile, hearing them say "I love you", getting hugs and kisses from them, seeing the river flowing, smelling the air before a rain fall, hearing children singing and seeing them dance to their favorite songs, seeing the beauty of sunsets and sun rises, seeing the squirels play as they gather up nuts, basically anything and everything about nature.

The sheer luck of being born a conscious being on a habitable planet. Talk about winning the celestial lottery. I am happy to get a chance to think for myself.

i think truly alive while i'm in a tense or risky situation. I as quickly as have been given lost in Beijing; that grow to be frightening a** sh*t and that i grow to be totally conscious of my environment. << that's what I evaluate, maximum ALIVE ZEN and TRANSCENDENT >> while i'm with a or some Tibetan priests, such an attractive environment you won't be able to be indignant in. It grow to be an attractive and surprising adventure purely BEING with them.

BEING in the presences of the Lord God Almighty, hearing my children laugh, watching them learn something new like tying their shoe, or my three year old son climbing a pole hearing them praise and worship our Jesus Christ, listening to them say their prayers, watching the sunset with them, listening to a cheesey joke they think are so funny. watching them eat something new and seeing their expressions, acting like a child with them and reliving my child hood, eating candy that i had when i was a child that is hard to find, feeling like a genius when i could answer their crazy but hard questions? most of all teaching them the word of GOD, and going to Church with my little blessing from GOD....Thank you Heavenly Father for my precious Little gifts of Love. by the way they are ages 3,4,5,20 how awesome is that 2 boys and two girls...Praise GOD...

When my youngest daughter smiles, or when my oldest says or does something to make me realize that she is turning into such a beautiful child. Children are IT.

Oh, and a sunset with alot of beautiful peachy pink mixed into it.
