This is why it's such a BETTER IDEA to MEET UP IN PERSON or just simply SOCIALIZE in person!!!
Those are just stupid little personality match up techniques that someone makes up. Really, don't even take it seriously whatsoever, lol!! I would actually laugh if it happened to me--really though, think about it. No one knows ANYTHING until it's the real deal. You just meet the person(s) face to face.
I just think it's safer, wiser, more fun, and healthier mentally, and socially/emotionally to branch out in life in REAL LIFE. THats off line, dear.

Yes, it happened to me as well. I too am a member of the 20% loser club, ha-ha. BUT, don't let it get you down. Eharmony is not out there help you find your soul mate. They're only a business trying to earn a buck off others like any other. They prey on you're feelings of loneliness, and pretend to care about your well being. The simple truth is you're a liability to them. If you have a bad experience with them, say like you don't find a match after spending the $$$ to find them, you may bad mouth them to whoever, and they'll lose business. You should actually feel happy that you are not like the other 80% clones who make the cut. The others are probably boring anyway, and could be matched with any random person off the street. Being in the minority makes you special, rare, and different. Seems to me that everyone is looking for those qualities in a person, but they end up settling on the norm, a.k.a the 80%. Besides, online dating isn't for everyone, to me it's a waste of time. Just my opinion, but I don't like the idea of having a computer tell me who I am. So why feel sad? Be glad you're not like everyone else, go against the grain, strive to be different, just be yourself. Whatever you do though, don't let anyone try and change who you are.

That is funny. I watched 2 ads for a website like eharmony saying they didn't get a match on eharmony even though they think they are good catches. Pretty much what you wrote. The website is www.chemistry.com or something like that. That is bizarre-one ad had a man and the other a woman

E harmony actually kicks a lot of people. There is this new add for another online dating company that says they receive everyone who gets kicked out of eharmony.

The website does that on purpose. You will get matches in a couple of days. They spread the matches out. Besides, the website sucks.

I've seen commercials by Chemistry claiming that people are rejected by Eharmony, but this is the first time I've actually heard of it happening...

You couldn't be matched with anyone on E-Harmony not planet Earth. Besides, I've actually tried dating online and most of the women who have tried it will tell you to save your money. Most men on there are looking for and are in essence paying for one night stands and are hoping to run into some young, sweet, innocent little girl who will show them a good time, then they end up canceling their accounts after they have their good time.
Trust me, save your money. Not saying you definitely wont find love, but online dating is risky and in my opinion isn't worth what you pay. Lots of people on online dating sites, lie about who they are too in the questionnaire, so be happy you didn't match up with a bunch of insecure liars who have to prowl around on the internet for sex due to a lack of game.
I wasn't mistreated by anyone online and I'm not a male basher, that's just my take on paying for cyber dating.
Good luck! = )

Actually, I have heard of that. In fact, Match.com uses that premise in their advertisements. Saying they will match anyone whereas eHarmony won't.

Maybe online dating isn't meant for you, online personals is one of many ways to find people.
Try going to a normal place, your place of work, supermarket, mall, etc. and try finding somebody there.
