Whatever one aligns with your beliefs.
I'm not part of any religion.
*If* were inclined to be part of one, it would be have to be something based on Philosophy (/human understanding) - Like Buddism or the UUA, both of which include: Atheist, Gnostic, Deist, Humanists and other people of many different backgrounds.

Wicca, wicca,or wicca. Oh! and you might want to do a little side research on Wicca.
Get a paperback book called The Truth About Witchcraft Today by Scott Cunningham. it is a very well written and researched book which simply and plainly spells out Wicca and Witchcraft for the lay public or folks interested.

The question that you may want to ask yourself when looking for a religion is ...
Which one will benefit my soul, give me the answers I'm looking for, and help me be a better human being?
The 3 major religions that relatively believe in the same things but have come in different times are:
Judaism - The Old Testimate
The beginning of mankind's pursuit for faith and basic understanding of how to be
Christianity - The New Testimate
To teach mankind love and more rules to benefit the soul
Islam - The Final Testimate
To teach mankind all that came before it and a summation of all of God's message

You might look up Christian Wicca but I'm a firm believer that if you seek God first, the religion thing will take care of itself later on.
God can direct your heart to the right religious group. By all means do some reading and learn about the differing beliefs but keep one ear tuned in to the Spirit for the answer that is right for you. Good Luck and Blessings!

My religion is Hinduism.
Hinduism, the world’s oldest religion, has no beginning--it precedes recorded history. It has no human founder. It is a mystical religion, leading the devotee to personally experience the Truth within, finally reaching the pinnacle of consciousness where man and God are one.
The following nine facts, though not exhaustive, offer a simple summary of Hindu spirituality or about Hinudism.
1 Hindus believe in a one, all-pervasive Supreme Being who is both immanent and transcendent, both Creator and Unmanifest Reality.
2 Hindus believe in the divinity of the four Vedas, the world's most ancient scripture, and venerate the Agamas as equally revealed. These primordial hymns are God's word and the bedrock of Sanatana Dharma, the eternal religion.
3 Hindus believe that the universe undergoes endless cycles of creation, preservation and dissolution.
4 Hindus believe in karma, the law of cause and effect by which each individual creates his own destiny by his thoughts, words and deeds.
5 Hindus believe that the soul reincarnates, evolving through many births until all karmas have been resolved, and moksha, liberation from the cycle of rebirth, is attained. Not a single soul will be deprived of this destiny.
6 Hindus believe that divine beings exist in unseen worlds and that temple worship, rituals, sacraments and personal devotionals create a communion with these devas (divine beings) and God.
7 Hindus believe that an enlightened master, or satguru, is essential to know the Transcendent Absolute, as are personal discipline, good conduct, purification, pilgrimage, self-inquiry, meditation and surrender in God.
8 Hindus believe that all life is sacred, to be loved and revered, and therefore practice ahimsa, noninjury, in thought, word and deed.
9 Hindus believe that no religion teaches the only way to salvation above all others, but that all genuine paths are facets of God's Light, deserving tolerance and understanding.
Hinduism is unique among the world's religions. I boldly proclaim it the oldest religion in the world. To begin with, it is mankind's oldest spiritual declaration, the very fountainhead of faith on the planet. Hinduism's venerable age has seasoned it to maturity. It is the only religion, to my knowledge, which is not founded in a single historic event or prophet, but which itself precedes recorded history. Hinduism has been called the "cradle of spirituality," and the "mother of all religions," partially because it has influenced virtually every major religion and partly because it can absorb all other religions, honor and embrace their scriptures, their saints, their philosophy. This is possible because Hinduism looks compassionately on all genuine spiritual effort and knows unmistakably that all souls are evolving toward union with the Divine, and all are destined, without exception, to achieve spiritual enlightenment and liberation in this or a future life.

Unlike all other religions, Christianity alone possesses a founder who transcends death and who promises that His followers will do the same. All other (false) religions were founded by men and prophets whose end was the grave. As Christians, we take comfort in the fact that our God became man, died for our sins, was killed, and was resurrected the third day. The grave could not hold Him. He lives and He sits today at the right hand of God the Father in heaven. The living church has a living Head.

Why on earth do you feel a compulsion to be part of any religion at all. it seems to me that in order to participate in a belief system that requires you to suspend your disbelief and disengage yourself from reality you would want nothing but a religion that has drawn you in uncontrollably. If someone is "shopping around" for a belief system on which to base their primary personal philosophy then perhaps atheism is what the doctor ordered.

Religion is one thing, spirituality is another. Religion to me is a representation of someone else's spiritual experience. In order for a person to share thier spiritual experience with others they translate it from the meta-physical realm where it occured for them into a physical set of actions and words, hence religion. If you are looking for spiritual fulfillment you will not find it in religion. God is a personal experience, though other's experience might help point the way, you need to find "God" yourself.

Like government, the best religion is NO religion. If you have any doubt about what I've just written, just look at the current government we have now in this country. The best religion is NO religion. The best government is ANY government without George Bush and Cheney.

That makes no sense at all. You might as well go shopping for STDs while your in the market for viruses. If you feel like you have to belong to something but don't really buy into all the religious mumbo jumbo, there's always humanism.
