It's interesting that I read your question as an either-or, while everyone else up to this point has read it as a package deal (except maguyver727, whom I'm guessing is Pentecostal or Charismatic).

My answer would be the latter: You are really changed when you are filled with God's Spirit. If you have not been filled with God's Spirit, then you are not capable of accepting Christ.

Accepting Jesus as Your Saviour and getting Saved is the Biggest Miracle there is.

Then, getting Filled with the Holy Spirit, gives you the Power to Help Others get Saved.

You Really won't be able to do too much in the Spiritual Realm, until your Filled with the Spirit and LEARN How to Operate in it.

Jesus opens the door and a person is born again .. i think its a seperate thing though to walk on that narrow path of life following that wonderful moment and recieving the Holy Spirit .. both things are life changing ..

yes, changed, born into a new creation of the spirit and you are never the same again, walking on clouds with Jesus, dancing and singing with angels, being filled with the spirit is transforming into his likeness

Yes, I think so. It is a gradual change over time to become more pleasing to God. God works within you, but you still make the decisions to become a changed person.

Yes. Even though the age seems to be as is, the person is changed, and the bumps in life become obnoxious, rather than consuming.

If you are not changed you didn't really accept Christ in your heart.

You are born-again the minute you accept Jesus as Lord & savior, a baby doesn't learn to walk the minute he is born. It takes time, but the minute he is born he is a baby. I hope that helps. Peace & Love.

Yes, I know that I was. I could not tell right away, but my mom noticed it. It was not long and I started hearing the voice of God speaking to me.

YEA! go talke to someone who really have Jesus in their heart and see how they act and live their daily lives. They won't be some people who go to church every sunday and then go back to church and work for week and go back to church on sunday and then go home... cycle. Dedicated Christian would never do that.
