Contrary to popular belief, Wicca was not a recent religion, it dates back before Christ to the Druids and Celts (Wicca means willow)! And Mr. G. Gardener decided to make claim to Wicca as his own! This is where MOST of the misconception lies! Currently Wicca has as many sects or sets of beliefs and branches as Christianity! We worship a many faceted Deity, AND we work either alone (as solitary) or with a group which many call a coven. We do NOT worship the devil (which is a Christian concept which appeared 200 years after Christ died!), and do not believe that when we do wrong it is caused by this being! We believe to kill just for killing's sake is not right, we believe that to force our will upon others is not right. We are healers, teachers, caregivers, and protectors of those who can come to harm. We respect other religions because we believe that there are many paths to the same "salvation". Hope this helps!

Humans....they are doctors, lawyers, dentists, cashiers, mothers, fathers, midwives, soldiers, teachers, police officers......the list may go on and on. Just ppl like you who have a different system of beliefs.
