Unidentified Flying Objects are often real things. Real things like clouds, the planet Venus, military and civil aircraft, birds and unusual weather phenomena. Sometimes they are illusions, delusions, hoaxes and hallucinations.
The idea that they are being crewed by some intelligence from another planet is so improbable that those who promote it are misinformed, delusional or lying. It is the least likely explanation for unidentified flying objects except perhaps that they belong to the Easter bunny.

A UFO is an unidentified flying object. There are many every day...we had one here yesterday and it made the news. So, they exist...until they are IFO's.

Because they are unidentified objects that fly--If they were real we could identify them and they could land. Then they wouldn't be called objects. They would be called airplanes, etc.
