44 years old and wants a Mohawk?
I am 44 years old queer girl and I tend to have the non standard haircuts...now I am in a relationship with a lady who doesn't find "alternative" styles pleasing to her eye....heres the question..she has seen pictures of my hairstyles, eg. blue Hawk..shaved off sides of head and so on..so she knew what she was getting into and now she is saying if I cut my hair in a nonconforming way that she will continue dating me when my hair grows back to normal..WHAT DO I DO??

if you really want a mohawk, try this. :-)
At our school's salon, we offer mohawks, but not in the traditional cut it all off and spike it up way. Your hair gets braided or twisted upwards toward the top and center line of your head and the remaining hair is spiral curled, spiked with styling glue or wax, etc. Let me find a picture...it's a good non-permanent alternative that looks SO much better.

I dunno......I wouldn't get the mohawk. I mean, they used to be alternative and now you see them everywhere. You might try a foaxhawk, though. They're less severe, but still punchy....
