Unless you call the Cold War a real war, there hasn't been a war between the two countries.......
A direct conflict will be global suicide, so there will never be a war between the two countries....onlyl proxy wars....

No, the next world war, will be fought against China who will be allied with other Asian countries including those of the middle and southwest Asian areas; Russian and other former soviet block countries will be allied with the US, UK and their current allies.

i think it could happen. i was watching dateline the other night and they had a special on some teen camp in russia that promotes the idea that the US is the enemy. might spark something in the new generation... never know
