Yes. He is a spirit person, for he appeared in heaven in the presence of God. (Job chaps 1, 2) Jesus Christ said of him: “That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him.” (Joh 8:44) Jesus here shows that Satan was once in the truth, but forsook it. Beginning with his first overt act in turning Adam and Eve away from God, he was a manslayer, for he thereby brought about the death of Adam and Eve, which, in turn, brought sin and death to their offspring. (Ro 5:12)

In regard to the response by Simon Peter, as regards conversation with the holy spirit, please provide a Scripture where it relates a two-way conversation involving the holy spirit.

I have read where it says the holy spirit spoke to someone; elsewhere I have read where someone spoke to the holy spirit, but I am not able to actually find a passage that relates a conversation between the holy spirit and anyone. The context in both circumstances allow for the spirit to be other than a living being.

In the account of the first two chapters of Job, we see Satan and Jehovah having a discussion, each one relating their thoughts to the other.

Again in Matthew chapter 4 we see the same thing with Satan and Jesus.

NEVER have I found a similar situation involving the holy spirit.

Um, because the Bible says so. Not quite sure what you mean, but he was an Angel in good standing, Angels are spirits, so ergo, Satan is a spirit.

Yes.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe Satan to be a spirit person because the bible refers to him explicitly as an angel, a cherub, and even a 'son of God'.

(2 Corinthians 11:14) Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light

(Ezekiel 28:14-15) You are the anointed cherub that is covering...You were faultless in your ways from the day of your being created until unrighteousness was found in you.

(Job 1:6) the sons of the true God entered to take their station before Jehovah, and even Satan proceeded to enter right among them.

Yes, because the Bible says so. He was in heaven, stood before the throne of Jehovah humans cannot do this, and live.
We can't see him, then he is a spirit person. We can't see Jehovah or Jesus either. they are also spirit persons.

Yes. He was created as a spiritual being in heaven, then he was assigned to keep a watch over mankind, but then he got jealous of God and his creation, humans, so he invented the first lie and doubt.

Subsequentially, he was cast out of the heavens here to us in the earth and he is a spiritual being along with his demons reaking havoc upon everyone; anyone he can.

They do, and in light of that, here is something very interesting from the Awake 12/8/73, p. 27:

"Is the Devil a personification or a person? . . Can an intelligent 'force" carry on a conversation with a person? . . .only an intelligent person could. 'Every quality, every action, which can indicate personality, is attributed to him in language which cannot be explained away."

NOW. Here is the REAL question, then: The EXACT same thing can be said about the Holy Spirit, so why do they consider the devil a person but the Holy Spirit to simply be a "personification"/a force like electricity or wind. Is this not a contradiction???

he was in Heaven (Job 1:6) and angels are spirits, they have spiritual bodies.

1 Corithians 15:44 Part b "If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one"

Simon: the bible describe the Holy spirit as a person or as belongs to a person? cause according to Jesus the H.S are like the fingers of God the fingger of a person belongs to a person but aren´t a person......

also we can see Satan in heaven but we never see Holy spirit in heaven talking or fighting .
