is the weight gain from eating more or does it actually slow down your metabolism?

I do not take remeron. Remeron is a tetracyclic serotonin and norepinehrine stimulant that is prescribed for clinical (deep/extended) depression and other disorders. The most common side effect reported is increased appetite and weight gain. Try "Remeron" in a Yahoo web search and you will find a number of links with information on this medication some of which are first hand user reports of what effect it had on them. The most common complaint was weight gain.

The weight gain is probably from eating more which can be offset by eating less and/or exercise.

Good luck, good health, peace and Love!
