I,ve just had my staples removed and although I realize everyone heals differently, I was wonder what to expect over the next few weeks or months.

Any input with regards to this type of operation would be greatly appreciated.

Results vary, some have less or no pain and some have more and it is horrible. See a pain management doctor first. That low down they may be able to do nerve blocks or burn the nerves. Why put your body thorugh an operation you may not need.

I do not like doctor that want to operate and it's no big deal.. No matter what you do obtain a second opinion and find a god pain doctor that's a diplomate or works in a clinic with one. You'll be glad you did. Without more info and since it's not in your neck and could be dangerous I feel this is your best move. Hope it works out and remember the pain could be worse and you might have to take pills the rest of your life. Pain management is just that and you may only take les meds, but less damage to you. Just do it and you'll be glad you did.
