NO WHERE IS SAFE!
If a nuclear attack is initiated, it won't be just 1 missle, it will be all of them, and the nuclear winter that will ensue will wipe the face of the earth. Only a cockroach will survive for the next 10~20 years....
So bend over, kiss your ****, and pray for a quick end....
And no, Nebraska isn't safe...Offut is a target...Colorado next door has Norad....
Nuclear strikes will be sent against all military camps first, second, all major cities as those afford the troops that will be fighting, if your near either, your TOAST!

Nowhere in the international would be risk-free, via actuality that the fallout of all Nuclear Warheads being spark off will conceal the earth. Noone could have the potential to proceed to exist till they're interior a bunker with atomic filters on the air intake.

The chances of you being killed by a nulcear weapon, even in a city, is pretty low.
If youve ever noticed, when nukes hit solid objects, they usually get blown over, they dont get blown to bit unless they are weak.
The pressure a nuke puts on an object is only 15psi (As opposed to the 16 million psi the planes hit with on 9/11), where steel and aluminum can withstand tens of thousands of psi.
Even reinforced concrete is far to strong to be effected.
If a nuke went off in a city, it would only destroy about a 750ft wide piece of the city, the rest would literally be sheltered by the buildings that were destroyed.
When the bomb hit Hiroshima, it destroyed a 2 mile wide area of flimsy houses, and most of the people actually survived. outside the 2 miles, nothing was effect very greatly at all.

This is a calculator that shows the effect of any strength nuclear weapon, and as you can see even a 1 megaton bomb would not even produce a 15psi wave large enough to engulf Manhattan.

About the biological weapons, there is little you can do but try and be clean and avoid unnecessary contact.

the safest place is on a US Navy warship at sea. USN ships are considered US Soil and since navy ships are designed to protect from NBC attacks, and can maneuver while at sea thereby driving out of the fallout area, they are the safest places to be.

Well, 50 years ago they would have said "hiding under your desk," but I suppose someone figured out that plywood doesn't offer much protection from a hydrogen bomb.
My best guess would be either Nebraska or Kansas, because they are probably the most boring states in the nation (this coming from a Kansan). If you dropped an H-bomb on some town in Nebraska, you'd be doing them somewhat of a service -- so I don't think you have much to worry about, living there.

It appears that being in a nuclear attack would be safer than being in a building hit by a plane, like 9-11, because when a plane hits the whole bld. and steel melts and everything and everybody is destroyed. Who needs nuclear?

I've thought this through not because I'm worried about nuclear threats but because I think zombies will attack one day.
