Why do I get the feeling that you have directed this series of questions at me? You know I saw them, and I can't help but think you're wondering why I haven't answered. Is this a test of my sincerity? ;) To publicly *out* myself?
You know what's in my heart, we've discussed this for a year. And you also know why I have been struggling with my beliefs, and how I finally reached a conclusion. Too many signs, too many incidents that go beyond coincidence and enter the realm of the supernatural. Too much good fortune, none of it through my own making.
I fully believe that someone is out there, looking out for me, you, my family. Yours, theirs, all of us. Maybe one simply has to be open to receive, and maybe my heart was never closed for those 30 long years.
For whatever reason, grace has always been bestowed upon me, without me having to ask. So after a lifetime of searching, asking, seeking, praying, I can say that I have accepted Christ into my heart, and that, yes, I do love God.
