Because Mr. Hovind (who is now in prison on a fraud conviction) simply looks at the evidence and says "that's no proof". Not much risk involved when he gets to be the sole judge of whether or not the proof is sufficient. In the meantime, virtually all the world's scientists, who know infinitely more about the subject than Mr. Hovind does, are fully convinced by the vast evidence available. They however, unlike Mr. Hovind and his ilk, are open to the truth.

Probably because it's not possible to prove a theory.
The reason for this, is because nothing can be 100% proven without having witnessed it's existance first-hand.
We can't witness evolution, it happens on such a small scale, we can't record it through generations. The same could be said about gravity. Offer the same prize for someone able to prove gravity, no one will ever claim that either.

Because BIG chunks of their theory has not been proven, and cannot be proven. People talk about "the missing link", but the truth is there are enough links missing that they make their own chain.
Also many of the links they have are based on falsified "evidence". For an example, so a search for Piltdown Man!
Their missing links are filled in by unprovable assumptions, and they say WE have "blind faith"!

Exactly, some people take evolution seriously. Yes it is a fact that small organisms have evolved to other organisms BUT there is no evidence that we humans evolved from monkeys...

Science does not offer proof, only certainty. Hovind is an idiot.

I am not sure... but I am guessing its the exact same reason no one has collected the $125,000 from junkscience.com for proving Man-Made Global Warming is true...

silly skeptic. if someone is determined to not believe in evolution, no one in the world can change their mind about it, no matter how much evidence is provided. if he was willing to put $2500000 on it, his mind obviously won't be changed with much of anything. sorry bud.
cheers

i wish there was a $250,000 dollar reward to prove god existed, cause no one would win that either.
no one will ever know how the human race or life began.

If you truly understood evolution, you would see that there is no way that the Earth is old enough to support the "facts" of how long it takes.......plus, if I am from monkey....why are there still monkeys? Did they not buy the evolution kit from Wal-Mart?
