Let me begin by telling you that many, many kinds of pot exist. I don't mean sativa or indica. I mean the combination of the variety of chemicals that affect the kind of "high" you experience. And you don't have to smoke but a couple of hits sometimes to experience one effect or another. When an unusual high occurs, it catches you by surprise, and the anxiety created by this can take you to a very uncomfortable place in your mind or body. This is common and you should not worry about it as long as you know it was not laced...

You have to ask? I mean, your answer is right there in your question. Stop smoking this stuff and stop mimicking your dad. Just because he did doesn't mean you should. He shouldn't have in the first place. You should be the first one in the family to leave all that crap behind and live a healthy and productive life. Just because they told you in the ER that you're fine, doesn't mean you'll be fine tomorrow and that your body is fine forever. Whatever happened to your body is pretty scary and it'll happen again. Except that next time you might not be so lucky. This really sounds very much like a stroke and you can lose your speech and be completely incapacitated next time. read up on strokes at www.webmd

The best part is that you're taking valuable ER time from people who really need it. I find it ironic that you run to the doctors when you get scared. If I worked in the ER, I'd tell you that you were fine too just so that I could get away from you and spend my time with someone who needs it.
Question- Did your insurance cover the visit or is it coming out of my tax money?
Darwin would be proud ;-)

As a healthcare provider I can tell you that the results of heavy smoking is the same....whether its pot or cigarettes. If you continue smoking...you are subject to the same lung/heart problems. Is this enough happening to make you consider quitting? Get used to these feelings if you keep smoking....it gets worse.

Sure its pot? Stay away from it. Everyone's body reacts differently. A friend of mine smoked a lot and just one day like that he started getting painfully bad migranes. Perhaps people can become alergic to it after a while. Good luck in any event and play it safe.

Well you made a poor decision by smoking. However, if your doctor says you'll be fine, you probably will be. You never know, it could just be an irregular heartbeat or heart murmur, which is not harmfull in most cases.
