If I see a car parked like that it reminds me of what a friend and I did once. We both got our cars as close as possible to the other car making it impossible for her to get in the car. When we came out she was fuming. Serves her right for thinking of herself only. She went on and on about her rights but didn't want to hear about how our rights let us do what we did.

If you're moving something, 'loading/unloading' with proof of doing so, I wouldn't ticket you.
But if you were just parked at the store and took up spaces, depending on the location I would ticket you. If it where many people are trying to go and your parking is an obstruction, I'd ticket you.. If it were way out in the parking lot, al though still a problem, I'd just tell you not to do it again.

In most places it is illegal and a police officer can and usually will give a ticket, unless it's in the back of the walmart parking lot where no one parks anyway. Then you're good. : )

If you are on private property, it's up to the owner of the property to decide to have you towed or not. The police cannot give a ticket for parking on private property. If you are parked on the side of the street on public property, then yes you risk a ticket.

Yes I'm afraid it is illegal and if the police officer is doing his job, you will get a ticket.

The parking a lot of maximum department stores are inner maximum sources. in lots of places, the Police do no longer enforce parking regulations on inner maximum a lot except the owner of a house makes preparations for such enforcement. Double parking is oftentimes a contravention, yet is usually no longer a precedence.

It's not "illegal" (a crime), but it is "unlawful" (a "civil infraction") in many U.S. states, meaning you can get a fine, but not jail time (unless you refuse to pay the fine, which is illegal). Additionally, some states allow cars that take up two spaces to be towed by private towing companies at the car owner's expense.

It depends on where you are, if you are in a private area, such as a grocery store parking lot, etc, they won't give you a ticket but if you are in a public street, they can issue you a ticket.

I doubt it is illegal, since it is a parking lot not on the public street, but your car should be keyed for sure.

It's called double parking - yes you can get a ticket.
If you don't want your car to get hit or get a ding - park in the very back of the lot where it is least likely to have another car parked next to it.
Try to park to a nice expensive vehicle - when he opens his door- he may be careful b/c he does not want the damage to his door that hitting yours would cause.
