In mumbai city, i get this feeling that people are little hesitant towards registering any complaints with the police. One of the reasons that i feel is the fear of rampant corruption ,specially if the defendant is an influential personality. I know that mumbai police can be the best in the world, after scotland yard. What role can the youths of mumbai play to improve the image of mumbai police and to regain the lost public confidence.

The youth should try to change the image of public that the police is rampant and corrupt by conducting :
1) a seminar at least 2 speaker e.g the police and public figure
2)a sermon in the mosques at least once a week which explain how good the service of the police,nocorruption and the benefit of public for reporting their compaints
3)a forum of discussion in any other chances
4)an approach to the police officers that they should treat public tenderly and full of respect with smile.

There is a meeting they(-police people-) conduct in their head quarters office every month. It is called Grievances Meeting, you can go and attend the meting and all higher officials are attending that meeting. They are also taking video photos to publicity the meeting for their Police and other magazines, If you attend the meeting and address what ever you want to say or register the complaints they will Cooley accept and there you will your satisfaction of registering your complaints as you wish.
