A Jinn is a two dimensional (not three dimensional like a human) elemental being!
One has to be very perceptive to catch a glimpse of one!

no, you cannot see a jinn, instead, you can feel it. I have felt one. It will suddenly blow wind indoors and you wont get scared, instead, you will feel good about yourself. (if its a muslim jinn, if its not, you'll be running away))
