just above right eye,the whole area around the eye is swollen and burns

Make a paste from baking soda and water and put it on the sting. This should draw out the poison. Helps me.

Ouch! I had three this year myself. Try removing the stinger, that is really important, next put a clean cloth with baking soda on it and water (mush together) over it.
If the swelling or burning gets worse, see someone immediately.

I dont know for sure if this works for wasps, but it does for bee stings so probably... crush a cube of beef bullion and add water till its like a paste and put that on sting.
