i'm guessing whoever named it had a "blonde" moment

if you think about it really carefully, you will realize that crayola does have a "lime" green, and also a "lemon" yellow...so it would be redundant to call an orange "orange" so they don't...they just say it once...

becuase are there the different orange end result? besides tangerines, or clementines, or problems with that nature, lemons cant be yellows because of the fact what approximately bananas and apples? limes cant be vegetables because of the fact what approximately pears, and apples? and tomatoes cant be reds because of the fact what approximately apples and strawberries. thats why. i think of.

well than you would have a real dilema what would you call a banana? you can't have 2 yellows you woudl just confuse people.
