from somebody calling me a sick whore for some reason, how many people have you had to block that just loves sending nasty emails? Just wondering if it happens a lot to others, I didnt use to get them, but for the last 3 weeks have been getting 1 or 2 a week.

Honestly I have probably around 100 currently blocked. Allot of them it is for tracking purposes. Example, one rude person on here LOVES changing IDs. So I marked them and am very cautious of them.
As for messages, I have gotten some doozies, but most were nice. Today I got a jerk who sent me 3 vile ones. Honestly the last 2 were because I posted the first two. My answer was below his, and so he sent a nasty message, (mentioning how Hitler had the right idea). I have blocked him:D
Sadly, it seems more and more trolls are getting blocked by me. Eventually it will be at a point where there will be a few set groups, that can only answer each other.
EDIT
I answered a question a day or to ago, where someone claimed something as a personal experience. So along with my answer, I mentioned I have answered this Exact Same question before, so possibly someone is copying the asker, or the asker from before is being copied, or maybe you asked it twice.
In response I got an angry letter telling me off, and a nasty message put on my 360 page. Clearly the person didn't like being caught lying. Sad how people keep pretending to be who they aren't.

I don't have anyone blocked, but I do get the occasional nasty email from people who disagree with my answers. Usually I just ignore them and they get tired and go away. Generally speaking the worst thing you can do is acknowledge the practice by answering the email because it just shows them that they can get to you and invites more of the same.
Edit: One word of caution though. I see several people advising you to post the contents of such emails here. This practice will only result in you getting Reported for abuse by the same people you are trying to avoid.

There are all kinds of people on here. I have never had anything as nasty as that. I generally answer mostly questions on the R&S site though. I am sorry that you have had such nasty email. I hope that your weekend is better.

I block a few users for things like this. Some people are extremely immature and have no life. Block that user and turn your email off for a while and maybe they will find something better to do with their time.

I have gotten 2 or 3 saying I've chosen an apt name, which I may agree with, but when I ask them to substantiate it, they stop writing. Apparently they disagree with my answers, but fail to say why.
I gotten at least twice as many positive emails, and many interesting discussions of minor points of reflection, so I wouldn't remove email unless it gets severe.
I'd either ignore them, or post them here, as you've done.

It only happens when I answer a bunch of Mormon questions for some reason. They are never personal attacks like the one you received though.
I did get like ten hate emails from chosen by grace like a week ago. It was kind of creepy.

By your limited description of what she has said no! You have to go into more detail. If she has threatened you and you have saved that email, then yes you could get the police involved. Calling you fat and overweight is NOT sexual harassment. You have to be more descriptive.

yep i even had to block everything, so people couldn't view my stuf , cause they stalked me,
And I usually am non political unless the person really posts a doozy

I have got a couple that were a bunch of name calling and I just responde in Love and they do not bother me anymore

I use a filter for my e-mail as well as multiple e-mail addresses for different things, contests, answering questions, etc...this helps reduce my mailbox junk, and keeps me from having to deal with issues like yours good luck...you could also try reporting it to the server it originated from.....
