I am going to make grape freezer jam, and the recipe says to store the jam in plastic containers. Does it have to be in plastic, or can I store the jam in glass jars? What will happen if I put it in glass? Thanks.

My mom makes freezer jam in glass jars all the time. Nothing bad happens.

I went out and bought Jelly glasses for mine. They work just fine and you can actually see what's in the jars. If this is your first time having freezer jam you are in for a treat. It's like eating freshly squished fruit on your toast.

Glass breaks. Try pyrex products.

You can use glass jars; just make sure you leave enough "head room".
