no you can't get a credit card until you're 18 because if something goes wrong, you can't be held liable because you're a minor. but you can get a checking account under your parents name or something and you can get a debit card or check card. it's plastic but you spend what you already have. also that helps build up your credit score. and when you turn 18, then your parents can take your name off the account and then you can start applying for real credit cards but just be careful, don't do it all the time. and when you have that account with your parents, be very responsible because if you aren't, you can lower your parents' credit score. hope that helps

If you lie and say you are 18, then it could screw up your credit later on. Wait the two years and then worry about getting credit. In the mean time start with a checking account and savings account. They will like the idea that you have had bank accounts for a few years and been able to maintain them without any overdrafts. The bank may also be willing to give you a card with a visa logo on a student account. Legally your parents are still responsible, but it would have your name on it.

anybody can practice for a card. IF the cardboard provider is paying interest, they gained't concern a card to anybody decrease than 18. the reason being that minors won't be able to be held to a settlement. The credit card contract is a criminal settlement, and that they choose to be waiting to enforce it against the borrower.

You can't. Period. It is an illegal contract. A parent or guardian can take out a credit card for a minor, but the parent/guardian is the person responsible for payment, not the minor.
