about a year or two ago my favorite teacher, from when I was in high school, died and I wanted to pay my respects to him and I dont know how I could find out where he was buried.

You could use www.findagrave.com it's free to use and it's excellent.

if you know the town where he resided when he was born, find the newspaper that covers that area. Most newspapers keep their obituaries on line. You will need to know the approximate date at deatha nd her name to search it. Most likely the obituary will give the place of internment. If not, the funeral parlor that handles the arrangements will be listed and they will know.

Try to go through the "county recorders office" in that county and provide a full name. Or look in the old obituraries and you can even go to the police station in referance to the coroner.

If you can locate his obit, it should say what cemetery he was layed to rest in or the name of the funeral home that handle his remains they will know what cemetery he was placed in. You can give us the name and lets us take a look and see what we can find.
