Wouldn't worry about that; if 'God' wanted to have a personal relationship with a mortal it would probably only be so he could show off, in which case he'd do all the talking. He'd probably be an arrogant, egotistical, smug git too. Or it'd be like talking to your dad, neither of you really listens.....

(This is also what my grandmother would use on my head, if I did not promptly eat what was put on my plate!)
As for the rest of your question, I'm still working that one out myself! Maybe someday soon, He'll come out of hiding and introduce Himself to someone. Then again, maybe not...
