Turn your PC on.
In a few seconds you will see some activity - memory is being checked - press and hold F8 down and continue to hold it down.

Tapping F8 as if you were typing does not do the job.

You must do this within a few seconds before Windows starts to load. You will come to a black and white DOS menu where, I believe, F3 is Safe Mode.

From Safe Mode you can click Start and run your antivirus program, do a system restore, whatever. When you exit Safe Mode, Windows will load. Your desktop icons will probably have moved. Just drag them back into place.

to restore to an earlier date these are the steps to take:

1. Go to start
2. Go to all programs
3. Go to accessories
4. Go to system tools
5. Click on restore

Getting to safe mode requires you to reboot the computer and hitting the F8 key prior to windows loading...

Good luck

There are a pair of issues which you're able to do. attempting booting in secure Mode and make a seek for the archives that show up in you Anti-Virus as contaminated. attempt deleting all of them. If this fails, make a backup of all your archives (documents, song, video clips and etc) and format all partitions on your not elementary disk. This 2d decision will certainly get rid of the virus. choose you suited of success...i even have pity on you.
