I have screensaver access at the office but that's only because the tech company that services us allows it. I am restricted as to which files I can access and capabilities. To change anything requires administrative permission - which, of course, I do not have.

They may not want you to use a screensaver because it uses part of memory and they do not want to invest in mega-memory when they don't have to.

Your techs are taking orders from your boss and if he/she doesn't want you to use a screensaver, you can't. If it's that important to you, ask your boss. The worst he can say is "no."

1. Start Regedit 2. Go to HKEY_Current_User / Software / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Policies 3. Create a new keys under Policies called System 4. Right-click, New... You can then add DWORD values set to 1 in the appropriate keys 5. To re-enable them, either delete the key or set the value to 0 *Keyname: "NoDispCPL" - Disable Display Control Panel
