Cindy , heaven is wherever God is . And the setting that Royal Racer's scriptural quote is in, is heaven. And it is saying that in God's kingdom (heaven will be on earth) that the carnivorous animals will be eating non-flesh things like straw just like all bovines. and that the snake will get it.s nutrients from the ground. It is also stated in the bible that in God's kingdom that the lion shall lie down with the lamb. That statement alone proves that the bible concur the existence of animal in heaven (god's kingdom) . I think you completely missed the idea that gods holy mountain for all intents and purposes is heaven. Hope this helps.

Well let me see. God made the universe and everything in it. But He is spiritual and there are spiritual entities and places also.
This includes animals as well as humans.
In the Bible we do read about horses in Revelations and worms that never die in the lake of fire. But this is off topic.
The animals you know have no eternal souls and are not spiritual beings but physical creatures as you and I are. In fact an animal like a dog or cat or horse could argue like an atheist that they have no souls; but they would be correct, and not the atheist. For all human beings have souls that can go to heaven if that is their choice to do so.
I hope what I've said makes some sense.

In Genesis 1:30 "...wherein there is life (a living soul)..." From the King James Translation. Then in Genesis 2:7, "And the Lord God formed man...and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
This would appear that animals do have a soul, however this was an error in translation in that the life that was stated in verse 30 was the blood.
In Genesis 9:4, God tells Noah that he may eat the animals except, "But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat."
I love animals also, but God did not give any of them the ability to believe, therefore when they die they die.

Who cleans the animal poo in heaven? And do dogs go to the same heaven as cats? Since cats are all presbyterian by nature, won't they all just go to hell?
How about unclean animals? Do swine get the 72 Virgins in Islamic heaven?
I hope cows go to heaven so we can have steak there. Is Heaven cold enough for penguins and polar bears?

And in all the times you have read the Bible where did you find that animals do go to Heaven? Arguing from a negative, that it does not say they don't, is hardly a proof.
Besides, we do not KNOW that animals will not be in the new creation. We only only that the Bible does not affirm that they will.

I've never claimed that animals don't go to heaven, and as a Christian who's rescued many animals, I feel that they do have spirits. In my personal opinion, many animals probably deserve to enter heaven more than some of their human counterparts.

God made man in His own image to worship Him. The Bible doesn't say that stealing a cookie out of the cookie jar is sin, because it doesn't get that detailed, but it implies it, just as it implies that animals don't go to heaven. The animals that are spoken of in Revelation are angelic creatures.

I don't know where you heard that, but I think you are mistaken to say Christians know that animals do not go to Heaven. I am a Christian and am SURE that I will see all my animal friends again in the next world. Blessed is he who sees and believes, but more blessed is he who believes without seeing. That is what is know as faith.

Where do you read in the Bible that animals will go to Heaven? Where does it say in the Bible that WE are going to Heaven? Psalms 37:11:29 says that we will inherit the Earth and we will live everlastingly on it. We were originally designed to live here on Earth, not in Heaven, what makes us believe that God changed His mind and now He wants us in Heaven?
