Absolutely! Especially if any one Christian sect is correct. You see, most Christian sects denounce the other Christian sects as having it all wrong, so it is inevitable that if one group is right, then all the others are wrong and are thus not prepared to go to heaven. So one can expect that, since most people that call themselves Christian will actually go to hell, that most Christians will not only suffer, but suffer for an eternity.
It's tough being a Christian.

Yes Christians can expect to suffer,Paul suffered greatly after he changed from a life of persecuting Christians to become a Christian himself, he suffered and even died for the cause of Christ.Think about Joseph in the Old Testament, he suffered at the hand of potiphar because he refused to lay with potiphar,s wife she accused him of rape and he went to prison for many years. So if anyone thinks being a Christian exempts them from suffering, they better go back and read the BIBLE.

Ofcourse, otherwise these atheists around here would be out having lives or something. But no, God made them sit infront of a computer telling us the latest piece of wisdom they garnered from South Park.

Yes, they can, but the problem with that is, that when you first become a Christian you don't realize that, because you are just a babe in Christ and have no idea , what you just signed up for. I didn't.

Allot of Christians quite believe that a real Christian that loves God won't go through, because of the fact God will love them back and shelter them. nicely, they have a component there..different than that they are lacking the component of the actual God. while they'll finally worship the writer and not the creation (Jesus) then ..the writer will quite love and shelter them.
