I heard from someone in their question for atheists (sara) that she believed in god becasue it was easier...is that why you believe in god???
because that is pretty low don't you think?

I dont believe in a god. If there was how does one explain all the bad **** going on these days. 9-11 attacks for one. Wars, gangs, robberys, murder, terrorism, all that bullshit.
If there was a god why would he allow this to continue. Ya know why cause there is no such thing. Hes a mythical creature some one created long ago.
But everyone has a right to their own beliefs. As far as bible bangers go they are the biggest hypocrites ever.

I didn't read that particular question, but I suspect she didn't mean it the way it seemed.
Easy or hard has nothing to do with it for me.
I believe because I really believe.
I am a member of a certain religion because I think it is the right one---not the easy one.
It would certainly be a lot more comfortable to stay home on Sundays--at least for now, when I'm not facing eternal judgement.
All that weeping and nashing of teeth will be coming from the ones that chose the easy way.

A truthful Xian is a rare Xian.
GODDIDIT is so much easier than learning all that stuff.
GODDIDIT is so much easier than admitting there are many things you don't know.
BUT if the truth were really known, Xians are Xians cos of FEAR - they fear that if they don't suck up to the invisible man, 24/7, they'll go to hell.
Xians will say they love their 'god' but everyone knows that love under duress is FEAR.

no, i belive in GOD because what h has done for me in my life also what i have seen him do in others lives, GOD is real i feel you should try to read the bibl and see that he is real just try to read the new testament and proverbs and see that the word of GOD will touch you in a way that no other book could ever do

No, actually I audibly heard God say something to me in my Life in the past.
So I'm 100% sure God is
in fact real as You and Me.
Atheists just probably have not had a real life witness account of God or Jesus Christ working in their own lives.

Believing is actually harder. It is very hard to believe in something and someone that never shows his face to you and that you constantly get harassed for. Non-belief is much easier but not necessarily correct.

when my older brother was kill by a truck running into him, it would have been easier to blame God than to believe that it was just an accident that could have happened to anyone.
and when my 21 year old Daughter was killed in a car wreak, it would have been easier to blame that on god also.
when my mother died of Cancer,, that would have been easier also.
no one of the hardest thing in this life, is to have faith, in spite of all the reason not to.

You've gotta start somewhere, and I for 1 will not judge her. My belief in God is now supported by revelation, but started as a small hope.
