And I've been looking forward to my planned meal all day...I just forgot to pick up the biscuit part and my car is not running.

What part of "I don't have mix" would make anyone think I would have bisquick?

Ok...one other thing..don't have a bisciut cutter (and yes...I am aware I am spelling biscut differently every time!!) Can I make balls or use a large drinking glass? Or even use a loaf pan and slice them when baked and cooled?

Fast Easy Biscuits

2 cups all purpose flour
6 teaspoons baking powder
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
milk (at least half a cup)

Mix flour, baking powder, butter, and salt until well mixed. When pressed together, it should hold it's shape, but crumbled once disturbed. Add egg and approx 1/4 cup of milk. Mix well. Add milk until you reach desired consistency.

Softer dough means lighter, softer biscuits. For stiffer, more filling biscuits, use stiffer dough.

Turn onto well floured surface, and roll to 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Biscuits will double in size when baked. Cut into circles, and let rest for 5 - 10 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 -12 minutes (until lightly golden) enjoy

Custard coffee desert. Lay out some rich tea fingerz into a dish Boil the kettle meanwhile add 2 heaped tspns of nescafe coffee into a mug and pour water until it reaches half of the mug. Empty a tin of custard into a bowl and mix the coffee in well. Layer the mixture ontop of the rich tea finger base. If u have custard left over because you using a small deep dish make another layer of biscuits and the mixture again. Whip some cream and smother over the top or pipe it over. Sprinkle grated milk choc on top. Simple. Fast. Easy. Delicious. Also just want to say even if you are not a fan of coffee its ok as you can add less coffee you can hardly taste it if you like the taste of coffee just add more of the loose coffee into the water or custsrd. Enjoy

Use Depp_Lover's recipe. Yes, you can use a drinking glass as a cutter; just make sure you have some flour on the inside and outside rim first. Sometimes, I take the lazy way out and just cut them into square shapes instead of the typical rounds. The baking time would be more like one big shortcake if you tried to bake them in a loaf.

2 cups bread flour
5 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon shortening
1 cup milk and water in equal parts
1 tablespoon butter

Mix dry ingredients, and sift twice.
Work in butter and shortening with tips of fingers; add gradually the liquid, mixing with knife to a soft dough.
It is impossible to determine the exact amount of liquid, owing to differences in flour.
Toss on a floured board, pat and roll lightly to one-half inch in thickness.
Shape with a biscuit-cutter.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMHe4

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true
