Despite what everyone else says teacups are real, there is a difference between a regular yorkie and a teacup.
A regular yorkie can grow up to 13lbs and teacup can be no heavier than 5lbs.
But teacups are expensive for their size, I breed regular size yorkies and all my puppies grow to be larger than 6lbs.
So yes there really is a teacup yorkie!

Teacups are not real and the ones that are being listed as such have a lot of health problems. Yorkshires don't come in sizes. They are just yorkshires and by ACK standards they shouldn't exceed 7 lbs.

Yorkies only come in one size. So all you need to do is look for a yorkie. If you are looking at shelters you might also want to try looking on a yorkie rescue site.

there is no such thing as a teacup or miniature or tiny or toy yorkie. yorkies r already a toy breed as it is. since when is a dog in the toy group that is 4 to 6 pounds not small enough.

im telling you this so you dont get ripped off! there is no such thing as miniture teacup or pocket yorkies or chihuahuas or dogs!!! trust me! breeders try to rip you right off by telling you this! the thing is how they make these dogs smaller than others is breeding them with other smaller dogs. the smaller the more health issues! so make sure you know what your doing before you pay more for a less healthy dog!

Tea cups are fake little dogs that are too small to be true yorkies. they are prone to many health problem and behavior ones as well. They die sooner than real dogs and cost much more. It's an excuse for breeders to get rid of little dogs for twice the money. Don't fall for it!

Yes, there is such a thing as a teacup yorkie. This is like a miniature doxie. It is smaller than the standard, so it is called something different.

''Teacup'' isn't a real breed, it's just the breed, purposely bred unhealthily small.

Get a standard Yorkshire, they're small enough.
