I think many people would want to avoid pain and suffering in this world. But before we set on one concept, perhaps a different perspective would help.
If God does not "feel" as you say, would mean that God cannot "Love" either.
I believe that man's purpose here on earth is to learn and experience. Happiness or tradedy is part of learning.
Are we not children of God? the relation between us and God is clearly outline in this verse.
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
(New Testament | John 20:17)
Jesus Christ is a "God", yet he can feel and suffer like us.
And to what end you may ask of all this learning?
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
(New Testament | Romans 8:16 - 17)
If we proven ourself to be righteous, we are promise by God to have eternal life, and be with him.

God has a better health plan than most of us....
That's common of genocidal despots....they're spared the suffering, while the flock has to grind their spines for peanuts.

Because Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden. He was given one rule one commandment and he broke it. He could eat any fruit of the Garden except one and he ruined it.

You are wrong. We have these problems, not only because sin entered the world, but because we are created in the image of God. Have you ever heard of the crucifixion? God was human, too.

Because we have sinned. By sinning man has brought this upon himself. Originally we were not going to experience these things but because of Adam & Eve's sins ( Thanks a lot) we now have to deal with this stuff, for we sin just like our ancestors.

If we are created in His image, the better question would be why does He have teeth? He's been around since before time then He's been around since before food.

if life wouldn't be so hard we wouldn't need God and we need to share in his sufferings so that we may also share in his glory

No gods exist in reality. Our flaws are due to our evolutionary origins - We're good enough to breed, but not perfect, which is exactly what would be expected as the product of an unthinking undirected process.
