Yes, but only in an attempt to make excuses for why there is absolutely no valid reason to believe that any gods exist in reality.

Yes, I am one of those many that use reason and logic. And none of those logical Christians (including me) stop using logic when it comes to religion. And I know of no logical Christian that believes in things "well beyond reason."
Your opinion of Christians would lead one to believe that you are a very biased, hateful person...

Yes, I have a good friend who is a scientist and a Catholic. He believes in a sort of deist Trinity, goes to Mass and takes communion. None of his beliefs are in direct conflict with science, and he fully admits that his beliefs are a matter of faith, without proof and without evidence. He believes that the requirements on Catholics set out by the Catholic hierarchy are time-tested rules for leading one's life and should be followed.

Yeah...Lee Strobel, author of "Case for Christ", former Yale law grad, and winner of Pulitzer...say that would qualify for applying reason...law school, dedicated reporter..
And Francis Collins...head of human genome project. Please don't tell me a world recognized expert in DNA doesn't apply reason.
Oh..what's that? They both were atheists and then became Christians.....well..it's obvious they're not intelligent and don't know how to apply reason, ......
... or do they?

Dear one, I've never met a Christian who DIDN'T apply reason to their beliefs! We don't accept Jesus blindly! We accept Him because we KNOW the price He paid for us!
God bless!

They believe in a liar, and the father of it.
If they would read and believe in the only the Words Jesus and His witness spoke they would know the truth.
And once you know the truth, your eye would be open, and more truth would be revealed to them.

Yes, plenty.
Try William Lane Craig for starters.
Dispute his reasoning if you can.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
