if you are hired and its says steady extra it means that you are placed as a person in need when extra work is need. i got hired by a 5 star casino and got placed as steady extra and was never given a shot to work. it been 2 months since hired and have not worked yet which is sad to me. i called the there human resource area and they said i passed the drug screening and background and the will send a message to the security department. I think this another way of tricking people to apply and be placed as on call. Honestly i think companies that do this should be given a lawsuit. because in my interview they asked me are you will to work any shift i said yes but i never got a shot to work day, swing, or grave.
