*I do not have Tourettes*
I twitch whenever I'm feeling self-conscious which is usually around people. I twicth A LOT at school. Sometimes it's just small head jerks other times I'm sure it's more obvious (i heard someone making fun of me).
The thing is I always feel like people are staring at me- i'm really paranoid. I try to tell myself that no one is, but just thinking about twitching makes me twitch! When my mind is not on twitching, I do not twitch. I don't twitch at home, at lunch, or when I'm with friends. As soon as i'm surrounded by ppl I don't know, I get twitchy. I try to keep my mind off twitching but it'll soon creep into my mind- especially when I'm around the girl who made fun of me. The worst is that when people are staring at me I twitch which is really awkward b/c I know they must have seen it since they're looking straight at me.

This has been going on for a while please tell me how to make it stop.

I can get twitchy at times myself.
It seems to help me when I feel like twitching, tense your neck muscles slowly instead of twitching. Try tensing your chin slowly so it will not be noticed. I am usually OK.
It comes and goes. Hopefully it goes more than comes for both of us. Best Wishes

Stop smoking meth girl! It'll aid with alot of matters!! :-) Seriously, it would be a couple of matters. My correct eye used to twitch at all times, I learn approximately it, and a couple of matters that helped me was once ingesting extra water, and taking in additional potassium. Alot of instances muscle spasms have been induced by way of an electrolyte stability. Most persons get sufficient sodium, however lack potassium for the stability. My eye nonetheless twitches oftentimes, esp while I'm worn out or careworn, however the ones 2 matters have helped!

I do not know how to stop your "twitching" but a therapist might. Try typing in "tics" and "movement disorders" into Yahoo! web search. A number of informative links comes up. Wikipedia has good summaries. There is too much in them to post here.

Good luck with your "twitch", Good mental health, peace and love!
